Tried another pathworking with the same person. This time, the _other_ cat jumped in the middle of things, but it wasn't terribly disruptive and I managed to change things around to incorporate the cat jumping in and smooth out the disruption. After the 'working was over, the bit with the cat got the compliment.

I'm still closing the door next time though.

I love cats, easily the most psychic of all the house pets. They do spend eighteen hours a day sleeping, we would probably develop some neat O tricks to if we dreamt that much. I find it kind of ironic that a kitty drew her out of her trance Suenteus Potato.

I no longer have cats, but when I did, one of them was constantly wanting to get involved in divination literally every time I would do something at home he'd be messing with cards or staves or demanding to be present for scrying type things. When doing more ritual style funstuff inevitably he would leave the room as I was setting up and come back when I was done.

I have found that my cat BAST
will be an attention slut when I do Voudon Work, any Magic work, or meditative work. If I want to meditate, I have to lock the door.. any reiki, etc... Shes an attention whore
if shes being good

I usually can do the microcosmic orbit with her
pushing the energy through her, and then cycling it. She purrs but sits there.

HOWEVER,
when I summon demons, particularly, or other things of that sort, she runs and hides and freaks out.
I have scene her, when push come to shove however have no fear in confronting the dead who happen to wander in and meow in a way at them, then they leave ( its a more aggressive meow)....

You bring up an interesting point - I suppose people who are used to having pets around wouldn't be surprised by that.

I find that cats and animals in general are attracted to this sort of thing. They often seem to have a better sense of what's really going on than the humans at the time. It might be worth keeping them around to see what their reactions are. ;)
