Hello, I'm Gabrielle a.k.a Chimera. I'm from a small town in West Virginia. I bought Hands on Guide to Chaos Magic on a whim, my dog got to it and yet it's still intact, luckily. I wasn't home at the time, and ordered it while I was at college. I'm currently interested in writing and mass communications, still not sure where it will take me. After picking up the book, I got pulled into it and couldn't put it down. I like the psychological models and examples, and it reminds me a bit of Carl Jung's techniques. I especially like the grounding exercises. I don't yet have a solid view or understanding of "how it all works" I guess that's more of a mystery. I've found myself improving a lot in visualization, meditating, and magic. I have a lot of progress to make in my own path, which isn't well defined- haha. A few of my passions are: languages, cultures, and various spiritual practices. I'm very fascinated by dreams and their symbols. I'd like to explore more of the difference between astral projection and dreaming, because for me it's difficult to distinguish them enough. I wouldn't call myself a skeptic, but I am often skeptical despite my passion for mystery.
