how you sit?

When you do sit? Dragon pose? savassana (i.e. corpse pose, i.e. laying down), lotus-style?

Do you shift position during your meditations or do you figure that after howeverlong the aching is part of the ritual (or a sign that you lost it and need to try something else)?

FWIW, I just had good luck experimenting with baby pose. Trying to keep a balance between noticing the stretch and keeping my mind focused was pretty simple once I got on auto-pilot (pulling a little when my mind was wandering, letting go when I needed less physical contact).

Re: how you sit?

I vary my position depending on what I am doing, what I feel might work best, whether I have any discomfort in the body etc. One of my favorites is a half lotus position with my back against a wall. I also find that for introspective work, the yoga position 'Child's Pose' is very effective for me. (Although I usually end up with clogged sinuses if I stay in it for longer than about 15min LOL)
