One day, I happened to be flirting with an online magician friend when she asked me to try an experiment.  The experiment was simple; try to send energy to her via IM and have her verify it.  Initially, we got tremendous results and kept pushing the boundaries of that energy play.  I have since repeated those experiments.  In each case, successful energy exchange over IM has lead to a desire for an in person meeting that, in each case, has happened.             

As the energy exchange progressed, it became evident that in addition to energy, information would sometimes carry through from one person to another.  Using this idea, in multiple cases, I started experimenting with the idea of directly accessing another living person’s information and skill set.  Of course, in daily social interaction, people bounce ideas off each other all the time.  Essentially, having the input of another person often expands and mutates you via the interaction.  If the interaction took place at a much deeper level, would it expand the possibilities for both participants to mutate and change each other?

p>If some of the quantum theories are correct, there is no reason why people can not access the information of any other person, alive or dead, except for limitations of perception.  Even in a world of spirits, where everything is a spirit, shouldn’t it be possible to communicate directly with any spirit, even those bound to a carbon-based shell?

            Initially, I had stumbled upon some of these methodologies for the sake of pleasure (although as I will detail, there is a high cost to some of these types of workings).  In many cases, it was difficult to get verification, but in these types of workings, it’s extremely important to get some sort of mutual verification at first.  Some of the methodologies I will present encourage just that sort of testing.  As magicians know, it’s very easy to invoke movie stars, fictional characters, even famous people.   These invocations often involve pulling forth a construct or a carefully created idea of the person.  Often, it may not entirely be possible to get past the idea of a person, even among people who know each other, but at least if the other person can verify that they felt something or experienced some effects, it is suggestive that there is more occurring then merely fortifying a mental illusion. 

               After the initial experimentation with deep invocation of another living person, which mind you produced extraordinary results and a volatile passionate but self-hurtful relationship, I have been able to distill down a set of methodology and interesting side-tangents of the methodology.  Simply put, person A should go into a deep meditative state allowing whatever happens to happen (more like a Taoist acceptance then a Buddhist mental quieting), while person B invokes person A via their preferred method.  One method of doing this is visualizing the person to be invoked at a distance from you while talking about them in the third person. Then switch to the second person tense, and repeat the details of the person while visualizing yourself talking to the person.  Finally, switch to a first person tense, and visualize the person descending over you. For this methodology to work, a component of timing is needed.  Both people have to be doing this at the same time and both parties have to achieve gnosis.  The person being invoked has to go for inhibitory gnosis of a deep meditative state. The person doing the invocation can choose their gnosis at will.  After both parties come out of gnosis, they should correlate the experience.  I have found that with this method, it is very easy to get encouraging results from the process.  What each person in the initial experimentation should look for is whether or not new ideas, or even more so, new ways of thinking about a problem, pop into their head after the ritual. There are several reasons the experimentation seems to work better for people that one has some sort of a connection to, or knows first hand.  First, as with standard invocations, the more information that is available to conceive of an entity, the easier it is to do the invocation.  The better you know a person, the more information you have about them.  Potentially, if a person really observes someone else, there is a wealth of information they could gather.  Secondly, the stronger your emotional tie to the person is, the greater the link is to do this kind of magick.  If you love or really hate someone, doing this type of work will be much easier with them as the emotional link for the magick to span across is greater (although buyer beware, as I will explain later). 

           After the initial experimentation, I have also gotten results doing this while one person was sleeping and the other was awake, while both were sleeping (lucid dreaming), while one person was having sex and the other was invoking, etc.  After the first phase, in which a connection is established, one’s state of mind does impact the person being invoked.  For example, in one experiment, I invoked a friend while on the telephone with her.  The friend had no idea what state of mind I was in.  She described the invocation as being partially dragged out of her body, or as being aware of a separate place.  She reported a feeling of great relaxation, warmth and confidence.  What she was not aware of at the time was that I had just performed a solar working and was myself in that state.  The phone in this case was used solely as a safety device (to ask if each other was ok after the ritual was finished).  She reported that the confident/relaxed state carried on for three days, even through an exam (usually she has a great level of anxiety in test situations).  She lives in Detroit, while I am in Chicago.  

          In another experiment, I was in inhibitory gnosis and the other person was receiving sexual gnosis in a highly charged BDSM setting with sexual penetration in her (and yes I did have sex with her later that night).   In short order, I was feeling all the things she was feeling.  I was very much in ecstasy.  Now,  this wasn’t quite  as blind of a test I would like,  however in the process of the rather rough sex she was having, blood was drawn from right below her breasts.  I did not touch my own chest, yet there was a red mark in a similar location to where hers was.

              I have also tried this style of invocation at times when the other person was not in gnosis. This type of experimentation leads to some interesting effects.  First, I have tried this several times.  Each time the person reported that they became distracted around the time the working took place.  Sometimes the invocation would be successful, but often it felt different from situations where the other person was in gnosis.  The best guess for these successes, in my opinion, is that different parts of the person would come.  Sometimes it would seem to be partially successful—for example, the other person would be thinking about me or send me an email or call me. 

           In this line of thinking, I was also able to leverage a tie to hop into another person.  This style of hopping into another person is of course easier when the person is in gnosis.  To me, the effect felt very similar to being invoked except that instead of a pull, I was pushing in.  To most readers, I think this will make perfect sense.      In one case, I was able to hop into a woman and deliver a Reiki healing which improved her mood.  I did not tell her what I was going to do.  From my perspective after I had hopped in, it felt like I was taking on that bad mood and I started the reiki healing to counter that (while in deep gnosis). 

           Unlike invocation where you are pulling a person towards you, this is the opposite.  I have found that a simple methodology for doing this is too first enter into some sort of gnosis.  If you already have a connection to the person B, visualize yourself connected to person B via long cable.  Imagine changing the characteristics of the cable to have a rope like feel between your hands.  Using the rope connection between person A (you) and person B, pull yourself closer and closer to the person you are trying to target.  Try to include all senses including the kinetic muscle tension and feel of the rope between your hands.  If you have a particular smell you associate with the person, it will be helpful to have that scent available or include it as part of the working.  As you pull yourself closer, you should be able to increase the volume of the person’s voice as well as the strength of their smell.  You should be able to imagine their “presence” much stronger and closer.  At the point you are able, visualize yourself superimposing yourself over person B.  It may be useful to sigilize a mantra of  “I am person X” to chant while you are in the process of doing this.  Once you have visualized being over them, try to let your feelings and perception become connected to person B’s information stream.  This action takes some practice.  Inhibitory gnosis seems to have worked better for me then excitory methods for this technique.            The general formula seemed to be that if a person was not in gnosis or asleep, the person invoking or hopping in would have to obtain greater levels of gnosis and trance to get past the distraction.  For me it was easier to hop into another person while they were not paying attention than to invoke them.  It was hard to get verification, except that the person felt like another presence had entered into their head around the time of the experimentation.  Since I did not want to be a pest, I didn’t do any direct manipulation instead choosing to merely observe. I was very good friends with the person, who described the experience as comforting and did give a correct rough time estimate for when it occurred..  

           Of course, a connection to another person is a connection to another person.  Even negative connections can be exploited in this manner.  However, a word of warning; using a negative connection means you entering a hostile alien world in some cases.  Essentially, you are a demon of the old days trying to assert yourself onto someone.  I think the film  “The Cell” with Jennifer Lopez is a good, yet extreme and drug induced exploration of this problem.  If you do this, it’s a good idea to visualize yourself as a virus or bacteria flowing across the connection into the other person, and then release all of your anger and hate in the most damaging way you can think of.  This secondary technique of hoping into another person requires that as part of the visualization, you imagine or send a flow of energy from you to person B.  This flow, which could be entirely negative, carries the bacteria that you imagining yourself to be.  Of course, you could just visualize yourself walking in the connection till you walked into the other person’s body, but I like having fun.  The only time I needed to do this, I visualized the virus attacking the neurons in the person’s brain from a first person point of view. Once a virus gets into the cells, it is assimilated and then causes replication of itself.  In this case, you could design a specific viral servitor and then shift your consciousness to that viral servitor if you, like me, want to get up close and personal.  The person had severe migraines for a few days after the experience and wasn’t quite right for a month. Of course, the greater the magical experience and will of the target, the more dangerous this probably would become.  The possibilities are of course endless, and you should try your own interesting visualizations/ritual combinations.

            I carried these experiments quite far with one person.  After repeated exposure, a sort of telepathy developed.  I could think of her, or she could think of me, and the other would tell the person in some way that they knew the other was thinking of them, Some thoughts would directly pass over. Additionally, it was possible to transfer skill sets.  Indeed, I was able to learn better channeling techniques and safer methodologies from her in these exchanges.  The more work is done with one person, the greater the information flow that develops between the people.  Now, at the time that I terminated experimentation with this person, we were discussing attempting to develop remote viewing capabilities via the other person’s eyesight.  In the future, I hope to find someone with whom to attempt that line of experimentation. 

           The down side to this experimentation that caused a deep obsession with me personally is that once the connection is established and expanded through use, the net effect of a positive connection seems like deep love.  It seems like you have “met your soul mate”.  The level of intimacy achieved is very, very deep.  I fell into a situation where I wanted the person more then anything, but broke it off when I realized this was simply not possible.  It took me 3 months of recovery and another 3 months of self-love exercises to get to a more nominal state (and I consider myself competent).  Since this first series of experimentation, I have since learned to regulate the information transfer and emotional contact of the connection for better control while doing this.

            Now, if you have a link to a person, it should be possible to establish a connection to that person.  The link can be a picture, name or any traditional link used in hoodoo spells.  From that link, you should be able to hop into the other person (this will take some time.)  Simply visualizing the connection forming to the person while in gnosis, and then visualizing you enveloping the other person, is a simple method for trying this.  Generally, the weaker the tie to person B, the more you will have to use gnosis to strengthen the tie before you can hop into them. The emotional content you have at that moment towards that person should influence their reaction towards you.  Try it.  If you want someone to fall in love with you, take on lustful energies and thoughts, go into gnosis, and form the connection.  I have come to believe the greater the strength you can create in that visualized connection (if positive), the greater the perception of love and possibly obsession on the person’s part.  I don’t really have a need to create a connection of negativity (like a hate connection).  If you have some experience with energy manipulation paradigms, I highly recommend exchanging some energy with the person first if you can.   When energy is shared with another person, to me it gives me intuitive knowledge of the other person.  Essentially, I get a good link for magick in the energy exchange even if that link is primarily located subconsciously.  I have gotten some initial results establishing connections without the energy exchange, but it is very difficult to start.  The energy swapping makes the rest of the process go much smoother and gives me more information that intuitively I will process and decide if I want to continue with the process for that person.  My goal at this point is really to have lots of very strong connections that could help me when I need the support. In building a temple or working group, these methodologies could foster group cohesion at a much faster rate with much deeper connections.
