The Nike InvocationI wrote this ritual about six months ago, if anyone wants to play with it or the statement of intent, go right ahead. I performed it during a 23 day monasticism and gained a servitor out of the deal. She is a fair goddess and one of my favorites. Nike exists as the Greek Goddess of victory. Nike should be revered as the patron goddess of luck, success, victory, winning, and fun. We denote fun to this goddess because of the thrills of victory, and the splendor which they offer us. The requirements of this ritual are simple, yet take some practice before we will achieve results. The exactor of this rite must have the ability to suspend conscious awareness or at least by pass it with some consciously meaningless abstraction such as a mantra or a focused mental image. After the presentation of the fruits of victory, they are placed somewhere where fruits would be expected to be kept, so as to not evoke conscious thought of the ritual act, a fruit dish placed on the kitchen table is ideal. In essence, this ritual is an act of sorcery evocative consecration. By performing this rite, we evoke the entity known as Nike (Nee Kay) and she consecrates the apples for later use in spell casting. Chanting during the ritual allows us to set up a form of gnosis (An altered state of consciousness.) which is synonymous with the Greek goddess, the repetition of the performance of the ritual sets up an anchoring of the mental state associated with her, this state is recalled when we eat the apples. The sigil of Nike is created using the words: luck, success, victory, winning, and fun, and should be charged for a period of at least 2 weeks using sex gnosis (Allow the sexual lust to be aroused by means of the sigil of Nike, then at the point of orgasm, losing the image to the conscious mind, this allows the sigil to trickle down to the sub conscious.) we can think of this as instilling the life force within the entity. The disk can be any disk without a ceramic finish, find one that is grainy, paint tends to not stick to ceramics. Paint the sigil of Nike on the disk which can be used later for offerings to the goddess. Nike is visualized wearing a plain style blue dress, with a purple sash which denotes the victor. She has massive wings made of feathers, and a golden crown adorns her head. She is brunette and extremely attractive. At her bare feet is her Oinochoe (Bowl) and her Phiale (Cup) which she uses to wash your imagined wounds after your long battle, she subsequently heals the wounds as she washes them. Make sure to imagine the sensation of cold water gracing your skin as she washes your wounds. Wreaths are placed around her of what ever style is appealing to you. During the first invocation, envision yourself becoming Nike, allowing the goddess to enter you, call her forth with your will. During the second, be gracious, honor the goddess’s presence. The lyre is the instrument of Nike and the magician use it to heighten gnosis if desired. For information of the Gnostic Pentagram Ritual, purchase a copy of Liber Kaos by Peter J. Carroll, or look it up on the web, You will find it on at least ten different sites. Feel free to change any aspect of the ritual you desire, play with the statement of intent. Nike has much influence in the realm of victory. I do not believe that Nike could exist as a true goddess of war, but she definitely has the ability to influence the war self. Servitors of Nike can afford one the opportunity to succeed in gambling, sports, etc… Without further ado, I present the Invocation of Nike 1. Banish using the Gnostic pentagram ritual or a banishing ritual of your choosing 2. Declare the statement of intent while lighting the incense sticks (S.O.I. We will to invoke Nike, so we may experience victory through the act of winning) 3. Trace the sigil of Nike above the alter 4. Position yourself in a meditative pose and use sound and image concentration to enter gnosis. Use the name Nike (Nee, Kay) and the sigil devised for the working 5. Unveil the sigil of Nike which you have painted on a black plate 6. Recite invocation 1 7. Return to a meditative pose and envision yourself becoming Nike while using her name as a mantra 8. Unveil the fruits of victory 9. Recite invocation 2 10. Return to a meditative pose and envision Nike washing your wounds from the battle you were just crowned the victor of, she uses her Oinochoe (Bowl) and her Phiale (Cup) This will be done through the medium of willed fantasy; focus on the feelings of Nike washing your wounds so that the effects of the ritual, through repetition, will also become available through the act of Auric magic. After she has healed your wounds, envision her adorning you with her crown, wreath, sash, trophies, and anything else which symbolizes winning to you 11. If desired, use this part of the ritual to cast other enchantments or sigils which relate to Nike 12. Banish using the Gnostic pentagram ritual or a banishing ritual of your choosing Invocation One We call she who wears the sash of victory, and the crown of triumph. We call she who plays the lyre of conquest, she who presents the trophy of success to the victor. We call upon she who can make us run, and fly at alarming speeds. We call upon she who offers us the fruits of victory. So come to us Nike, make us as fast as you, and the victor of our endeavors. Invocation two We have become as Nike, We have donned the sash of victory, and the crown of triumph. We have become a master of the Lyre; Nike has presented us with the trophy of the victor. Nike has blessed us with her winged majesty. We have been washed after our battle and Nike has crowned us the victor. We have tasted the fruits of victory, and become the victor of our endeavors.
