This is a Banishing I developed for the Plant Spirit Magic class I taught in Chicago. It was a fun fun class, probably inspired me to to write another book ( more then the couple I am working on ).

First, you have to connect to the Spirit of the Pathos Species. I simple way to do this is to use a sigilized mantra and chant the mantra while physically touching the pathos plant. Imagine if the pathos plant is "connected" to the egregoric presence of all Pathos Plants. While holding the plant, essentially evoke the Pathos Egregore and over the specific plant you have. These methods are effectively covered in Hands On Chaos Magic. The plant should HUMMM with energy, and seem larger then life.

At this point, using the vortex methods, connect to the Pathos Egregore, cycle energy from yourself to the plant ( now connected to the greater species entity) and ask the Pathos energy to cleanse out your energy of all negativity. This was a surprisingly effective cleansing once the egregoric pathos spirit was present. Everyone felt totally juiced.
