Reiki is really a neo-modern system. In some ways, it truly resembles what a chaos magician might come up with if they had a satori. Of course, then people take reiki and Say THIS IS THE WAY YOU DO iT.. which is bullshit.

Reiki is technically a pretty novel combination of Buddhism, Gigong work ( mostly Tibetian), Shintoism, and Vice versa.

The reiki and the Middle Pillar are actually extremely related conceptually, both pull energy from above. and pull tons of energy into the outer auric shell ( my interpretation). The Middle Pillar in some cases being a higher vibration then Reiki I for sure. Now lets take an information/energy model ( and this is pure speculation), Usually with the pain reaction... it is sorta TOO much of TOO high of a vibration, in the genralized area. Kinda like shining a laser, when you need a gentle light for the plant. Although not exactly the same, I would correspond loosely the upmost section of the tree of life to the master symbol of reiki ( this is a very loose comparison). Thats Reiki III in the traditional Usui System. Or soul healing. So of course, filled up with that high vibration, and hten putting into the body causes some reaction since the body isnt used to it. Its kinda like the energy is to far out there.

Middle Pillar being more "intelectuall" and the Reiki defnately settling ( if traditional and actually real reiki masters like myself do it) directly into the auric shell permantly. Reiki I primarily deals with the physical world, and then the Ketheric

If you did the Middle Pillar and then reiki I with that On me... I would probably be like ahhhhhhh
but for most people that is mixing a type of Malkuath life force energy with Ketheric at the same time, most people's bodies don't directly handle that well in my experience.
Kinda like mixed signals.

However, Id bet if you were a Reiki III, in my school of thinking, aka not bullshit drive through attumements.. it would not be a problem anymore, since youd mix the reiki and smooth it out with the Ketheric energy of the middle pillar :)

I have not done the Middle Pillar ritual in some years but I do remember a flux in my psychic awareness after only doing the ritual regularly for about a month. This was about ten years ago so the memories are unstable at best. I never preceded the Middle Pillar ritual with the LBRP but this sounds like a reasonable practice. I will have to try this out and see what I can get out of this ritual once more.

I have been planning to pick this ritual back up just as a refresher for some time but there are not enough hours in the day for all of my projects. I assume this will have the same benefits as the Gnostic Pentagram Ritual, but this ritual is devoid of virtually any symbolism whatsoever save the chakra system and pentagram to seal the directions. I have used this banishing and others for some years but I would like to plug myself back into a few paradigms through ritual work, Golden Dawn being one of them.

I am excited to jump back into this. I finally have some time now that my monasticism has ended, it will be missed though. I wonder what the possibilities are concerning telepathy and the middle pillar ritual. My group has received excellent results with the techniques we have been using, but I am sure this will kick it into forth gear.

Thank you for the thoughtful warning and concern for my stable existence? I am not sure how else to take this... I guess I didn't word/phrase the inquiry correctly. The original question arose because I am newer to reiki.

I had been doing the LBRP for weeks with successful results and was impressed with how well it worked as a banishing compared to more earth based methods I had been using. This is what prompted my work with the middle pillar. And before you ask yes I had experimented just doing the middle pillar a few times to gauge its effectivness; it isn’t as effective without the LBRP preceeding it and the energy usually gets garbled.
