Introduction

This ritual combines some elements of Aggripa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Some aspects of ceremonial magic ( from
High Magic), and of course Hands On Chaos Magic techniques. Loosely speaking this is a change of luck ritual when you have had a lot of negative things occurring, however it is equally effective ( and might have that end result) of allowing you to be stoic in the face of catastrophe. Effectively, the issues can not affect you at the mental level. Since Saturn is the planet of extreme transformation, this is not a ritual to be done for little stream of bad luck. In the Aggripa system, Planetary energies are devided into the Intelligence or Evolutionary/Beneficial aspects and the Spirit which is the De-evolutionary/Baleful components. No planet is more feared then Saturn where even the beneficial aspects are often harsh. In the harshness that is the Saturn energies there is a promise. Hard Work and Discipline pay off with dividends. Saturn is the planet of putting the nose to the grindstone. However, when Saturn is baleful, in my opinion, you work and work and work with no dividends or a loss even while your hands bleed from the amount of work. Essentially, there is so much pressure, and no tangible gain. This is not the gain that occurs with good luck, this is the gain that comes with beating bricks to sand ( if you are looking for sand). Saturn is the planet of hard fought transformation and is the ruling planet over death ( the final transformation).

Now the intelligences are usually used in a talismanic manner. I find them to be something like Live wires to the planetary current of an evolutionary stance. Although some people find them to have a personality, my opinion is that the people who have come to that conclusion are working mostly in a spirit model of magic and create a personality for them. Being live wires they are potentially more dangerous though, and are more like an Abstract jolt of that planetary energy. Just make sure your intention is in line with what you actually want, and check with your divination system that the outcome will be successful.

This ritual makes a couple precursor assumptions.

1. That things are Harsh for you, to the point of cruelty. As it is with Saturn, you may have brought this on yourself but you may not have.
2. That you are willing to accept personal responsibility for your parts in the current situation.
3. The ritual does not call forward the negative aspects of Saturn since it assumes that the patterns in your life constitute a manifestations of those negative aspects. From an Information or spirit model, you are already negatively impacted by Saturn like energies and that constitutes either a crossed condition or a infection,
4. Most importantly, that you are wiling to transform the issues and come out the other side. Be careful and think about that. Often Saturn is about disciplined change and often has Karmic justice type of vibrations. Karma in this case may just mean the patterns that you yourself have created in your life, but this depends on your believe system.
5. While sickness is a part of the Saturn information pattern, I do not recommend this ritual if you are seriously ill. Some illness, sure it should be ok, but if you are seriously Ill, the positive release of pain and the associated karma through the transformation might well be the result.

This ritual requires the ritualist to have a good understanding of the Lessor Banishing Ritual of the Pentragram. I am not such an ANAL ceremonialist that I could break down the ritual into millions of parts, but generally there is 4 parts. Kaballistic Cross, the 4 pentacles with the name of god, the calling of the four arch angels, and a second ending Kabbalistic cross. A google search will get you started on this but a link from the OTO is here . A chaos magician may find the documents EXCEEDINGLY tedious, so consider yourself warned. This ritual has many variants since although ceremonial magic is supposed to be exact, most of the orders of ceremonial magicians can not agree.

A very good friend who has been doing magic for 40 years or so, gave me an additional piece to using this ritual which I now share with you. His name is Lord Shadow, he has an online store out of columbus ( which I will add to this once it is back up and running). Of course, he would never call himself a chaos magician, but again he is mucking around with the formula of this ritual alot more than this.

This alteration is just a slight difference in understanding about what you could use the ritual for. He will start with the first three components.

So Kabbalistic Cross -> Pentagrams and names of god -> Angels -> Insert your own ritual work here or calling out stuff here -> Kabalistic cross to finish this. Basically, in his model of the ritual, once the angels are around you are in a protected space why not use it. That is what we are going to do here. In our ritual, we are going insert the Saturn transformation into that forth spot and end with the Kabalistic cross.

Materials:

Black paper, 9 small black candles, Lancets. Andrieh's Saturn Incense which is ( 1/4 HEMP, 1/4 Patcholi, and 2/4 Mhyrr ). Myrr tears do not seem to burn as well as frankensense so you have to grind them up but when they are ground with the hemp and patcholi, this should burn nicely. Saturn planetary oil, Charcoal incense. GraveYard dirt if you have it, or just dirt. Water. A Crystal ball if you have it. A skull candle ( black). Black construction paper. White or silver paint marker.

Mix the incense and combine with 3 drops of your blood. This represents the link for the intelligence to manipulate your life and your patterns. In this ritual, unless you really want to be connected the Saturn intelligence it is not wise to put the blood on the seal of the intelligence.

You will need to prepare three planetary symbols, and 3 seals of the planet, and one seal for the intelligence. It will be helpful to prepare the Hebrew mantra for the hexagon planetary saturn invocation as well. ( I will have that later in this ritual write up).

Altar Preparation:

Lay out the altar in the following manner.

All of this should be drawn out on a black sheet with silver ( or white writing). If you don't want to druge through the Aggripa stuff, the symbols are in the Magician's Compendium although some of the planetary seals are a little off so double check stuff with google.

Use Saturn oil to oil the candles, rub from the bottle of the candle to the top ( signifying a lessoning of the negative Saturn vibe, yes hoodoo tricks work with ceremonial magic). Light all of the small candles, the Skull candle ( or skull) is there for ambience. Put some incense on.

Sigilize the Statement of Intent into a mantra. "It is my will to transform the negative aspects of Saturn in my life, bringing the positive aspects of Saturn into my life." The techniques from Hands On Chaos Magic will show you how to do that it you dont already.

Your Preparation:

You need to be ready to roll. Before doing this ritual, think about the harshness that has been going on in your life. This is not a ritual to run from that pain. This is ritual to embrace the harshness to let it go. You should be dressed in ALL black if possible.   

Ritual Proceedure:

1. Banish with the Lessor Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram using the above method. So Kabbalistic Cross, Pentagrams with the names of God, and the Angelic Summoning.
2. State the statement of Intent out loud.
   It is my will to transform the negative aspects of Saturn in my life, bringing the positive aspects of Saturn into my life.
     
3. Draw the invoking Hexagram of Saturn over the ritual space. ( See the picture)
   
   

4. Vibrate out the Hebrew names associated with the Greater Hexagram Invoking of Saturn ( The name is in english with the picture ). Do this loud and with conviction. This should be repeated while remembering the harsh elements, suffering or just working to the breaking point memories. This should be done for a minimum of 20 minutes. The idea here is to get in a a sufficiently powerful trance state ( which if you need practice on, Buy My Book Hands on Chaos Magic ) . Run with the pain of the harshness, the cruelty and whatever else is going on. Fuly experience all those memories as well as pain.
5. When you are in a trance state, begin to chant A-Gi-EL, the name for the Intelligence of Saturn..... with your mantra, while concentrating on the SEAL in the center of the diagram. Agiel's seal, if it was too small in the Altar set up is as follows.
   
   

6. As you continue to go deeper into trance, vibrating A-gi-el with your mantra, start to see, feel, and hear all of the negative emotions and situations transforming. Perhaps you may hear things, but you SHOULD really feel a presence, or really connected to the live wire. IF you don't, keep the seal in your eyesight, and continue to chant as powerfully as you can. The Saturn vibe is "Working on the Chain Cha aaa in gang". Keep going until deep trance is obtained, make sure you are in a safe chair.
7. Use the Banishing Hexagram of the Saturn to release the Saturn Energies.
   With the hebrew mantra Mantra. Do the HEXAGRAM and mantra 3 times.
   
8. Finish with the Kabbalistic Cross ( but instead of opening the aura, close the aura and DO absorb the POSITIVE and angelic energies).
9. Go get a burger or some coffee and relax.
