Sigilistic Advertising

Ok, this is a technique that I'm testing right now.

From YAJoM (My Journal; Yet Another Journal of Magic):

Quote:
I created a new method of Sigil charging today. I drew up a sigil, and then walked around with a couple of variants and asked which one everybody liked. Having been so informed, I cut it out of the page and put it in my pocket. Of course, then everyone was curious as to what the strange drawings were. Well, To Keep Silent is my watchword, hehehe.
Essentially, their curiosity (which I made some mysterious statements to pique) will provide fuel for my sigil. I plan on taking it and placing it anywhere people might see it in order to provide energy to charge it. Because the people don't know what it is, or what they're looking at, their “resistance to magic” is at 0, while their gnosis state is actually pretty high (especially if they're in automaton robot mode.)
This functions using the same technique advertisers use to get in your head, relying on your not really paying attention, trying to bypass the conscious and hijack the subconscious mind. I plan on taking it and hiding it in plain sight all over the place, every glance helps!

I derived this method from a concept that Paul Huson used in Mastering Witchcraft wherein the use of half-truths and manufactured secrecy can arouse the Deep Mind of the subject and make them susceptible to magic.

Also, alongside (and in order to encourage) this widespread propagation of my sigil, I'm deliberately obsessing myself with umbrellas (the sigil looks like an umbrella.) I'm listening to "Umbrella", I frequently talk about umbrellas, I walked around a local department store with an open umbrella. I draw pictures of umbrellas whenever I feel vacuous (wherever I can, including my body :P)

Of course, this is balanced with banishing by laughter anytime the obsession starts to take on a fever pitch, and after the working is through, I'll thoroughly banish the "umbrella paradigm" from my system.

So, if you've sat there and read this entire post, then you must have developed some thoughts! Feel free to critique my method below.

Chaotically,
