Two days of magicial work

So I have been doing 2 days of magical work to try to keep a friend alive. I have done what I can do. I am tired, beat up and generally, cant do anything more. I have done the best I could, with multiple techniques, and I have to let the magic work.

Nothing more can be said, ultimately she has to choose to live. If she does, shell find theres lots of energy to support that decision.

Then in Columbus, someone accused me basically of summoning a bad spirit, when I was going to do a straight ancestor workshop. They want to protest this because I said don't cook with limes for the ancestors. This is the way I was taught in Haiti. I told this person it was just an ancestor service, usually with Baron Samhedhi. Instead of asking questions, they started a smear campaign probably so they can fill in and do the main ritual. The ridiculousness of pagans sometimes is outstanding. To accuse a initiated priest, who went to haiti, a long time magician, a internatially acclaimed published author... To spread rumors like they are, is utterly ridiculous. It way we pagans are laughing stocks and it is the height of egoism. The organization Cynthia wants to say its a misunderstand, of course, its a misunderstanding behind peoples back. Meaning it is pure, jealous maliciousness. Most of all it is a utter waste of time. I do good work and am an honest priest and a serious magician. I also have been doing this 15 years.

Its all ego too, this coming from someone who did a knick knack patty wagon fairy ritual. The worst possible combination and representation of what we do. Such behavior should not be coddled or facilitated by anyone... We should not give those people a voice, and we should hold people to a standard of behavior. This would not be acceptable behavior in any community but ours. It is completely disrespectful, adolescent and laughable.

In relation, to point one in this blog, this does not matter. I have a friend who very would could die and I am here trying to magically as much as possible stop that from happening. The pettiness doesn't seem to matter in relation to this. Most probably, I will do the ritual, however I will not be so coddling of people to people who should be publicly admonished for their behavior.

This ritual as discussed in a public meeting was a simple Vodou Ancester service where we ask the Barons to bring forward our ancestors and connect. This is not an extreme ritual, of course, the implication was more sinister. In a civil community, this should be considered unacceptable behavior and such behind the back type of witchcraft of the mouth should be frowned upon.

Although more showy, I have done this same ceremony at Covocations, and Columbus Pagan Pride two years before. Several times in Chicago, and other places. Its a very common ritual to do. The irony of this, I did this VERY same ritual at Columbus event.

But in all seriousness, giving what seems like ridiculous and slanderous ( and btw I have talked to a lawyer), statements for no other reason then self-egotistic tear down from a person I do not know but apparently has issues with people who are my friends.. Well to be blunt, those who have been around the Columbus pagan scene, I recommend avoiding the Columbus Pagan scene entirely.. .... which is my opinion. It seems that many people in Columbus involved with paganism ( I can not say that its everyone)... still enjoy the legacy of the pointless which wars, ego battles, and generally back and forth of pointless conflicts for no other sake then drama at least this seems to norm. This produces nothing, and serves nothing but to endlessly distract. I, and if you areading this, probably you, have better things to do.

I am probably too strung out for this type of situation giving the other more important things happening. If you wish to express support, you know how to reach me. If you would like to see this ritual, The meeting at the Library at 6 pm, in the 3rd floor meeting room will be for pagan pride. Sigh.
